We’ve feared this for months, but Masashi Kishimoto has finally done it. The Naruto manga as we know it will be coming to an end! But it’s not what you think, Kishimoto is only changing the name of his popular manga series. The new title of the “Naruto” manga as of chapter 413 will now be “Sasuke”In a recent interview with Shannaro!!!, Mr. Kishimoto has stated that he wanted to focus his manga series in a new direction and with a bold new approach. He had suitably named his new plan the “More Sasuke” initiative. When we asked him about how he plans to go about this new idea, Mr. Kishimoto outlined his detailed plan for us:
1. Draw more Sasuke
2. Draw less Naruto
3. Draw MORE Sasuke
When we asked Mr. Kishimoto about possible resentment and anger from long time Naruto fans, the mangaka suddenly jumped onto his chair and started shouting “CHIIIIDOOOORRIIIIIII!!!!!” He then leapt onto the coffee table and started throwing the tea biscuits at us as if they were shurikens. We had no choice but to run for our lives.
The next day, it was announced that Mr. Kishimoto had made a new change to the cover of volume 43 of the “Naruto” manga - it seems like he was serious about his new plan.
