Sasuke Manga Chapter 413- The End of Naruto

We’ve feared this for months, but Masashi Kishimoto has finally done it. The Naruto manga as we know it will be coming to an end! But it’s not what you think, Kishimoto is only changing the name of his popular manga series. The new title of the “Naruto” manga as of chapter 413 will now be “Sasuke”

In a recent interview with Shannaro!!!, Mr. Kishimoto has stated that he wanted to focus his manga series in a new direction and with a bold new approach. He had suitably named his new plan the “More Sasuke” initiative. When we asked him about how he plans to go about this new idea, Mr. Kishimoto outlined his detailed plan for us:

1. Draw more Sasuke

2. Draw less Naruto

3. Draw MORE Sasuke

When we asked Mr. Kishimoto about possible resentment and anger from long time Naruto fans, the mangaka suddenly jumped onto his chair and started shouting “CHIIIIDOOOORRIIIIIII!!!!!” He then leapt onto the coffee table and started throwing the tea biscuits at us as if they were shurikens. We had no choice but to run for our lives.

The next day, it was announced that Mr. Kishimoto had made a new change to the cover of volume 43 of the “Naruto” manga - it seems like he was serious about his new plan. How will the hordes of loyal narutards around the world react to this drastic change? Let us know your opinion in this matter by participating in the poll at the side of the blog.
Vote first.. hehehe.

*by the way, if you haven’t caught on yet - this was all a lie. Chapter 413 is already published and Masashi did not change the title of his manga

Vampire Knight

Vampire Knight (ヴァンパイア騎士 Vanpaia Naito?) is a shōjo manga and anime series written by Matsuri Hino. The series premiered in the January 2005 issue of LaLa magazine and is still on-going. Chapters are collected and published in collected volumes by Hakusensha, with nine volumes currently released in Japan. The manga series is licensed in English by Viz Media. The English adaptation premiered in the July 2006 issue of Viz's Shojo Beat magazine, with the collected volumes being published on a quarterly basis.
Two drama CDs were created for the series, as well as a twenty-six episode anime adaptation. Produced by Studio Deen, the anime series' first season aired in Japan on TV Tokyo between April 8, 2008 and July 1, 2008. The second season, titled Vampire Knight Guilty aired on the same station from October 7, 2008 and December 30, 2008. The anime uses many of the same voice actors as were used for the drama CDs.
Yuki Cross's earliest memory is of a snowy night in winter, when she was attacked by one vampire and was saved by another, Kaname Kuran.Yuki is the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy, Cross Kaien and has grown up and become a prefect for the school with one main purpose: for vampires to coexist peacefully with humans . Her fellow guardian, Zero Kiryu, a childhood companion whose parents were killed by a pure-blood vampire, is now determined to kill them all and refuses to trust them. Through a cruel twist of fate, Zero becomes a vampire himself, having been bitten by pure-blood vampire, Shizuka Hio, four years before. Now Yuki must help him fight his curse, as well as recover the lost memories of her past. She must also discover why Kaname, who leads the group of Night class (all of which are also vampires) at Cross Academy as their President, saved her that night and what deep dark secret he is keeping from her.
Characters:

Yuki Cross (黒主 優姫 Kurosu Yūki?) is the adoptive daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, and a Guardian, one of the members of the school's

disciplinary committee. Ten years prior to the start of the series, Yuki was rescued from a vampire attack by another vampire, Kaname. She lost all memory of her life from before the attack, and was adopted by Headmaster Cross. After Zero's vampire nature is revealed, she begins giving him her blood to drink. However, Yuki loves Kaname, who has always been protecting her and has been by her side during her childhood as a vampire. When Rido Kuran, their uncle, resurfaces at Cross Academy, Yuki's memories are unlocked, revealing that she is actually a pureblood vampire, both Kaname's sister and his fiancee.

Zero Kiryu (錐生 零 Kiryū Zero?), who is a year older than Yuki Cross, comes from a vampire hunting lineage. His family was killed by the pureblood vampire
Shizuka Hio because of one of the assignments his parents carried out. Zero was taken in by the headmaster of Cross Academy and became a Prefect (Guardian), alongside Yuki Cross. He has a great hatred for vampires because of what happened to his parents, but it is later revealed that he himself is a vampire as a result of Shizuka's attack. It is also later revealed that his twin brother, Ichiru, also survived the attack and lived at Shizuka's side. After he consumes Shizuka, Kaname lets Zero drink some of his blood to keep Zero from losing control of himself in order to protect Yuki.

Kaname Kuran (玖蘭 枢 Kuran Kaname?), a pureblood vampire, saved Yuki from an attack by another vampire when she was little. He is the class president of the Night Class, much feared and respected by the other Night Class students. While heis cold and authoritative towards his fellows in the Night Class, he is always kind and sweet to Yuki. He has shown that he cares deeply for Yuki, and loves her in a romantic sense. He allows Zero to live because he knows his death would sadden Yuki, and because Zero is useful. He is both jealous and angry of Zero for biting Yuki and endangering her life. Kaname has been raised as Yuki's older brother. At a young age they had pledged to marry each other when they grow up, just like Haruka and Juuri, who were siblings yet married to each other. It is common for pureblood siblings to marry as it is essential to keep the bloodline pure. Also, a fact yet to be revealed to Yuki is that Kaname is not her "true brother". He is actually the ancient ancestor of the Kurans, and Rido is his master who awakened him from his grave, making him unable to kill his 'master'.

The series is licensed for an English language release in North America by Viz Media. Hana Kimi

Alternative title:
Blossom Boys

Hana Kimi (German)
Hana Zakari no Kimitachi e (Japanese)

Hanazakari no Kimitachi he (Japanese)
Parmi Eux (French)
花ざかりの君たちへ (Japanese)
.Genres: comedy, romance
Age rating: Teenagers (May contain bloody violence, bad language, nudity)
Plot Summary: Mizuki Ashiya, a Japanese American, just transferred to a boarding school in Japan for one reason: To see her idol, Izumi Sano, jump in the high jump. There’s just a couple problems. 1) It’s an all boy’s school, 2) she’s pretending to be a boy, and 3) several people know her secret.
Characters
Note: Not all characters are featured in the drama CDs; these characters will not have any seiyū to voice them.
Class 2-C
Although Mizuki joined Osaka High in time to finish her first year of high school in Japan, she missed the school cultural festival. Therefore, her time in Class 2-C was the only full year she spent at Osaka, if one ignores the fact that she resigned on the day the third-year students graduated.
Mizuki Ashiya (芦屋 瑞稀 Ashiya Mizuki?)
• Voiced by: Houko Kuwashima
• Japanese live action actor: Maki Horikita
• Taiwanese live action actor: Ella Chen
She is the protagonist of this manga. She admired Izumi Sano the moment she saw him high jump on TV. She pretends to be a boy in order to enroll into Sano's school, thereby allowing her to get closer with Sano. She loves sweet food and she is a very fast runner, initially causing all the three dorms in Osaka High to desperately recruit her. Mizuki falls in love with Sano, but is unable to tell him because she thinks that he doesn't know that she's a girl, though unbeknownst to her Sano knows her true gender and feels the same way about her. She amusingly wants to be a dog trainer and is very close to Sano's dog, Yūjirō.
In the Japanese live-action series, Mizuki enrolls in Sano's school because of guilt (he had saved her from a gang and gotten injured in the process). In the Taiwanese drama, Sano inspired her to lose weight (she had been overweight) and she had fallen in love with his jumping.
Izumi Sano (佐野 泉 Sano Izumi?)
• Voiced by: Atsushi Kisaichi
• Japanese live action actor: Shun Oguri
• Taiwanese live action actor: Wu Zun
The guy that Mizuki Ashiya likes and an excellent high jumper. He finds out that Mizuki is a girl early in the series, but does not tell anyone else and actually becomes very protective of her secret. Before Mizuki came to Japan, Sano had been injured in an accident when he saved his team captain from being hit by a car, causing him to quit high jumping for a while because he thought that he couldn't handle the pressure. But thanks to Mizuki's deal with her brother (Sano had to jump while her brother was in Japan, or Mizuki would have to come home), he was able to try again and was given a second chance to high jump. Sano falls in love with Mizuki, but cannot tell her because Mizuki thinks that if Sano found out her secret, she would have to leave. In the last chapter, he followed Mizuki to California, pursuing both his college and high jump career at UC Berkeley. He eventually is able to confess his feelings for her. Sano also originally never got along with his father or younger brother, Shin; with Mizuki's help, however, he eventually reconciles with them. He proposes to Mizuki at the end of the series.
In the Japanese live-action of Hana Kimi, Mizuki enrolls in Sano's school in order to get him to high jump again because of the guilt she feels (he had gotten injured saving her from a gang when he was in America for a competition. He did not realize that she is the girl he had saved). In the Taiwanese drama, Sano got injured saving a friend from being hit by a car, not his coach and Mizuki decided to join the same school as him because he inspired her to lose weight.
Shuichi Nakatsu (中津 秀一 Nakatsu Shūichi?)
• Voiced by: Shotaro Morikubo
• Japanese live action actor: Toma Ikuta
• Taiwanese live action actor: Jiro Wang
He likes Mizuki, but doesn't know that she is really a girl, and some of his classmates believe that he is gay due to that fact. Nakatsu also seems to have come to terms with that fact. As Umeda says,"...he's only attracted to her feminine side," meaning that Nakatsu is responding as any teenage male would to being around a female, although it would appear he is a bit more excitable than his classmates as none of them seem to be affected by Mizuki-- or they simply hide it better. At times, he is very jealous of Sano because of how close he is to Mizuki. He entered the school with a football (soccer) scholarship, and is very good at it. Originally from Ōsaka (the city, which is different from the school and spelled with different kanji), he has a thick Kansai accent and frequently uses the Kansai dialect. He has bleached blonde hair.
In the Japanese drama, he is often seen defending his roommate, Kayashima, when he gets bullied about seeing ghosts. In the Taiwanese drama however, he often -along with others- is seen telling his roommate to stop talking about ghosts.
His name is taken from Nakatsu Station, a railway station located in Kita-ku, Osaka.
Taiki Kayashima (萱島 大樹 Kayashima Taiki?)
• Voiced by: Kentaro Ito
• Japanese live action actor: Yusuke Yamamoto
• Taiwanese live action actor: Xie He Hian
Taiki is Nakatsu's roommate, and has the ability to see ghosts and detect auras. He is always doing Nakatsu's aura report. He's also into yoga. When he first comes to Osaka High, he was teased by others due to his ESP skills. However, Nakatsu sees him as a good friend. His dream is to meditate on Mount Fuji though he really plans on going to college to study folklore after he graduates from Osaka High. He does not want to become a ghost catcher (despite Kyogo's efforts to convince him not to waste his "special talents") because the uniform does not appeal to him.
In volume 4, Nakajo noted that Kayashima took his name from the "Kayashima Station", a railway station on the Keihan Main Line, located in Neyagawa-shi. He also claimed that many workers were injured during the construction of the station, as a large tree was considered to be cut down. The tree was later preserved, and the station was built around it. Incidentally, "Taiki" means "large tree".
Shinji Noe (野江 伸二 Noe Shinji?)
• Voiced by: Hiroyuki Yoshino
• Japanese live action actor: Shunji Igarashi
• Taiwanese live action actor: Chen Wen Xiang
Part of Mizuki's group of friends, he's often seen together with his bi-spectacled friend, Kyogo Sekime. Unlike most of their friends, the duo are locals. He also has an extreme fear of ghost and scary creatures, mainly is scared when Kayashima talks about these things. In the special chapter, he's said to have found a job in an anime production company. Like Kayashima, Noe is a station on the Keihan Main Line.
Kyogo Sekime (関目 京悟 Sekime Kyogo?)
• Voiced by:
• Japanese live action actor: Masaki Okada
• Taiwanese live action actor: Xie Zheng Hao
Part of Mizuki's group of friends, he's often seen together with Shinji Noe. Unlike most of their friends, they're locals. He is the captain of the track team. Sekime is also a name of a station on the Keihan Main Line.
Senri Nakao (中央 千里 Nakaō Senri?)
• Voiced by: Chiharu Tezuka
• Japanese live action actor: Ryo Kimura
• Taiwanese live action actor: Yang Hao Wei
A somewhat effeminate boy who harbours a serious crush on Nanba. He was upset for losing the beauty pageant because he helped Mizuki when she was kidnapped. Initially, he was secretive about being in love with Nanba, but eventually became less subtle. Towards the end of the series, he confesses his feelings to Nanba, but he was rejected. He would even attack the girls that tried to flirt with Nanba. Nakao is the school idol (or he was before Mizuki came) and he considers himself to be very beautiful. He hates mushrooms, although he ate them when Nanba asked him to. He's also a former winner of the Miss Osaka pageant during his first year at Osaka.
His name is taken from Senri-Chūō Station(千里中央駅), a railway station of Kita-Osaka Kyūkō Line and Osaka Monorail, located in Toyonaka, Osaka.
Second dormitory
Classes that belong to this dormitory are 1-B, 2-C and 3-A.
Minami Nanba (難波 南 Nanba Minami?)
• Voiced by: Shinichiro Miki
• Japanese live action actor: Hiro Mizushima
• Taiwanese live action actor: Danson Tang
The R.A. of Sano and Mizuki's dorm. He's a nephew of Umeda-sensei, and is one school-year older than Mizuki. He's a "ladies man" although very sensible. He was once in love with his tutor, Kanako Tanabe, but she left him. Umeda claims that this was what caused Nanba to become the "ladies man" he is today. In the future, it is said that he became a model. He, along with the other R.A.s finds out that Mizuki is a girl, but helps keep her secret (although it wasn't a secret for very long). Among Mizuki's group of friends, he seems to frequently butt heads with Nakatsu.
He's also a former winner of the Miss Osaka pageant, during his first year at Osaka, a fact which he isn't terribly proud of.
His name is taken from Namba Station, located in Minami, a region in Chuo-ku, Osaka.
First dormitory
Classes that belong to this dormitory are 1-A, 2-B and 3-C.
Megumi Tennōji (天王寺 恵 Tennōji Megumi?)
• Voiced by: Toshiyuki Morikawa
• Japanese live action actor: Yuma Ishigaki
• Taiwanese live action actor: Zhang Hao Ming
The leader of the First Dormitory and the Karate Club, Megumi has a fierce exterior, but also has a heart of gold. He discovers that Mizuki's a girl towards the end of the series; along with him, the other two dorm heads learn of the secret, although Minami claims that he had his suspicions for a long time.
Itsuki Kujo (九条 威月 Kujo Itsuki?)
• Voiced by: Ryōtarō Okiayu
Megumi's deputy in the Karate Club, Itsuki has a friendly exterior, but when angered, is feared by almost everyone. Initially, Mizuki has a poor impression of him, but he really is a nice guy. He seems to be really close to Shoutaro Kadoma to go as far as romance. At one point when Kodoma's underwear is stolen he gets disturbingly angry, hinting at possibly more romantic feelings for Kodoma.
Shōtarō Kadoma (門真 将太郎 Kadoma Shōtarō?)
• Voiced by: Yuka Imai
A young student in the Karate Club, who at one point shares a room with Sano and Ashiya. Earlier in the story, he was also responsible for luring Mizuki to a secluded area in the school, so that rogue members of the Karate Club could imprison her and keep her out of the 2,000 meter relay. He idolizes Kujo just like how Mizuki idolizes Sano. He always does whatever Kujo asks of him and their interesting relationship borders close to romance.
Third dormitory
Classes that belong to this dormitory are 1-C, 2-A and 3-B.
Masao Himejima (姫島 正夫 Himejima Masao?)
• Voiced by: Takehito Koyasu
AKA. Oscar M. Himejima, he is the leader of the Third Dormitory, Masao is a total narcissist. He's also a "Germanphile", calling himself Oscar and spouting random German phrases. He dyed his hair and wears blue contacts. However, he has his serious side, as can be seen when the dorm heads realised that Mizuki's a girl. He has two younger brothers who are twins. Their names are Yoshio and Mitsuo. (but they introduce themselves as Shion and Anri). They are obsessed with Kayashima.
His name is taken from Himejima Station, a railway station of Hanshin Line, located in Nishiyodogawa-ku, Ōsaka.

Deathnote

Death Note (デスノート, Desu Nōto?) is a Japanese manga series created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. The series centers on Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook, the titular "Death Note", dropped on Earth by a shinigami (death god) named Ryuk. The Death Note grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose face they have seen, by writing the victim's name in the notebook. The story follows Light's attempt to create and rule a world cleansed of evil using the notebook, and the complex conflict between him and his opponents.

Death Note was first serialized in 108 chapters by Shueisha in the Japanese manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2003 to May 2006. The series was also published in tankōbon (paperback) format in Japan starting in May 2004 and ending in October 2006, and since then has been translated internationally. The series was adapted into live-action films released in Japan on June 17, 2006, on November 3, 2006, and on February 2, 2008. The anime series aired in Japan from October 3, 2006, to June 26, 2007. A novel based on the series, written by Nisio Isin, was released in Japan on August 1, 2006.
The Death Note process began when Ohba brought thumbnails for two concept ideas to Shueisha; Ohba said that the Death Note pilot, one of the concepts, was "received well" by editors and attained "positive" reactions by readers.

Ohba described keeping the story of the pilot to one chapter as "very difficult" and he said that he remembered taking "more than a month" to begin writing the chapter. Ohba added that the story had to revive the killed characters with the Death Eraser and that he "didn't really care" for that plot device.

Obata said that he "really" wanted to draw the story after he heard of a "horror story featuring Shinigami." According to Obata, when he first received the rough draft created by Ohba he "didn't really get it" at first and that he wanted to work on the work due to the presence of Shinigami and that the work "was dark." He also said that he wondered about the progression of the plot as he read the thumbnails and if Jump readers would enjoy reading the comic. Obata said that while there is little action and that the main character "doesn't really drive the plot" he enjoyed the atmosphere of the story. Obata stated that he drew the pilot chapter "in a way that would appeal to me."

Ohba brought the rough draft of the pilot chapter to the editorial department. Obata came into the picture at a later point to create the artwork. Ohba and Obata did not meet in person while creating the pilot chapter. Ohba said that the editor told him that Ohba did not need to meet with Obata to discuss the pilot; Ohba said "I think it worked out all right."

Manga

The Death Note manga series was first serialized in the Japanese manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump published by Shueisha in December 2003. The series has since ended in Japan with a total of 108 chapters. Later, the individual chapters were collected into twelve separate tankōbon. Death Note was eventually licensed for North American publication by Viz Media, and the first English-language volume was released on October 4, 2005. In February 2008, a one-shot special was released. Set two years after the manga's epilogue, it sees the introduction of a new Kira and the reactions of the main characters in response to the copycat's appearance.

In addition, a guidebook for the manga was also released in October 13, 2006. It was named Death Note 13: How to Read and contained data relating to the series, including character profiles of almost every character that is named, creator interviews, behind the scenes info for the series and the pilot chapter that preceded Death Note. Its first edition could be purchased with a Death Note themed diorama which includes five finger puppets inspired by Near's toys. The five finger puppets are Kira, L, Misa, Mello, and Near. In North America, 13: How to Read was released in February 19, 2008. Also included in "13: How to Read" was a small card containing a picture of "L" stating his real name being : L Lawliet

Live-action films

Death Note (デスノート, Desu Nōto?) is a series of two live-action Japanese films released in 2006 and based on the Death Note manga and anime series by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The films primarily center on a university student who decides to rid the world of evil with the help of a supernatural notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it. The two films were directed by Shūsuke Kaneko, produced by Nippon Television, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures Japan. The series is about Light Yagami, a young man who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a person's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, but after experimenting with it, he realizes that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the New World" by passing his judgement on those he deems to be evil or who get in his way.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (キラ?, derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the word "killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins.

Characters

Risa Koizumi (小泉リサ, Koizumi Risa?)
Drama role by: Ema Fujisawa, Voiced by: Akemi Okamura .
The protagonist of Lovely Complex, Risa Koizumi is not your average Japanese high school student. Standing 172 cm tall (about 5' 8"), Risa's height is well above that of most Japanese girls her age (the average height for a female is 5'2") Ironically, her surname means 'little spring'. She and other characters compare her to a giraffe. Risa can be impulsive and strong-willed at times, and is rarely willing to display her softer side. She had a crush on Suzuki before he started dating Chiharu. In the beginning of the series, Risa is 5'7" but she gains 3 quarters of an inch in height so she is approximately 5'7.8"

Risa starts developing feelings for Ōtani and soon admits to herself that she likes him. She then starts trying to confess. Failing the first time, Nobuko and Nakao try to help, Nobuko often giving Risa advice on what to do. Finally she very directly tells him. She immediately regrets it, and tells Ōtani to pretend it never happenened, but in spite of herself she tells Ōtani once again that she likes him. Ōtani responds that he couldn't see her as a girlfriend yet, so her new goal is to make Ōtani regret that and make him like her as well. Eventually they start going out.

Atsushi Ootani (大谷敦士, Ōtani Atsushi?)
Drama role by: Teppei Koike, Voiced by: Akira Nagata , Voice actor for game/drama CD: Takahiro Sakurai
Atsushi Ōtani is one of the main characters of Lovely Complex. He is very short for a boy, standing 156 cm tall (about 5' 1"). The average height for a male in Japan is 5'7.5" Like Koizumi, Ōtani's surname (roughly, "big valley") is a pun on his diminutive stature, and he can be thoughtless and rude; at heart, however, he is kind and a little silly. Ōtani is also the star player of the school basketball team.

His ex-girlfriend is Mayu Kanzaki, the manager of his middle-school basketball team. She broke up with him for a much taller boyfriend, and this is one of the reasons Ōtani is sensitive about his height, but he later finds out that wasn't the reason she broke up with him, it was because she was in love with someone else already who just happened to be tall. He doesn't know quite yet how he feels about Risa, and only responds that he can't see her as a girlfriend (at the moment) when Risa confesses her feelings. But later, he realizes that he does care for her, and he kisses her. Later on in the series, Otani gets the wrong idea when Risa keep doing suspicious things with her co-worker Kohori, and then breaks up with her. However, after seeing how devoted she is to him, Otani reconsiders and they make up on Christmas Eve.

Nobuko Ishihara (石原信子, Ishihara Nobuko?)
Drama role by: Nami Tamaki, Voiced by: Saori Higashi
Fashionable and charming, Nobu is Risa's best friend. She is generally wiser
than Risa or Chiharu in the ways of love, and is always ready to offer her advice. She's mostly the one who sets up all the 'alone time' moments with Risa and Ōtani, but it usually ends up failing and Risa goes back to her for comfort.

Heikichi Nakao (中尾平吉, Nakao Heikichi?)
Drama role by: Yusuke Yamazaki, Voiced by: Yasuhiko Tokuyama , Voice actor for game/drama CD: Kenjiro Tsuda
Nobu's boyfriend. Considerate, sensitive, mild-mannered and easygoing. Nakao is absolutely dedicated to Nobu, and when he is not playing basketball with Ōtani, he can usually be found helping with her match-making schemes.

Chiharu Tanaka (田中千春, Tanaka Chiharu?)
Drama role by: Risa Kudo, Voiced by: Kazuko Kojima .
One of Risa's closest friends, Chiharu has such a shy, demure personality that she fears most boys her own age. Ōtani once harbored a crush on her (she resembles Kanzaki, his ex-girlfriend, or vice-versa), but Chiharu instead fell for the gentle Suzuki. The two are now a couple. When everybody starts making college plans, Suzuki and Chiharu applied for the same college, but Suzuki got rejected. He sadly tells Chiharu somebody else would be able to protect her. For the first time, Chiharu breaks out of her shy character and violently lifts up a desk and throws at him (narrowly missing), frustrated that Suzuki thinks he can be replaced. They later make up and Suzuki promises to join Chiharu in her new school the next year.

Ryoji Suzuki (鈴木涼二, Suzuki Ryoji?)
Drama role by: Hiro Mizushima, Voiced by: Kenjiro Tsuda , Voice actor for game/drama CD: Masaya Onosaka
Chiharu's boyfriend. Suzuki's cool demeanor is often mistaken for standoffishness, and so he has few friends. Oblivious to Risa's crush on him, he develops feelings for Chiharu, and eventually asks her out. Like Chiharu, Suzuki is shy and easily embarrassed. When failed to get into the same university as Chiharu, he promises to try again the year after.

Haruka Fukagawa (深川遥, Fukugawa Haruka?)
Voiced by: Masaya Onosaka , Voice actor for game/drama CD: Ryotaro Okiayu
A handsome, effeminate young man who developed a childhood crush on Risa when she defended him from a gang of bullies. Though he is popular with many of the other girls (dating seven at a time), he says it's all preparation for when he goes out with Risa, but she always rejects him. According to Risa his grandmother is English. It is also suggested that he might have a crush on Seiko.

Seiko Kotobuki (寿聖子, Kotobuki Seiko?)
Voiced by: Fujiko Takimoto
A blonde who has a large crush on Ōtani, although she is biologically male, stating that God placed her in a wrong body. Her given name is Seishirō, but she prefers to be called Seiko as it sounds more feminine. She kissed Otani, but he later found out she was biologically male when she took off her shirt when tending to his injury in the school infirmary. Seiko was afraid that Ōtani would think she was disgusting, but Ōtani stated that he didn't and they remained friends.

Mayu Kanzaki
Voiced by: Yuki Matsuoka
She is the ex-girlfriend of Ōtani. She looks very similar to Chiharu (or Chiharu to her), which is one the most likely reasons that Ōtani had that crush on Chiharu. They started dating in middle-school, and she was the manager for the school basketball team. She broke up with him, leaving him completely heartbroken, because she was in love with someone else.
She invited Ōtani to the team Christmas party, and though Ōtani accepts, he ends up going with Risa to the Umibōzu concert instead. She then visited Ōtani's school to see him, but encountered Risa and Nobu. Risa is convinced that Ōtani is still in love with her, so she goes to clear up a misunderstanding. It is then that Mayu tells him that it was not because of his height that she broke up with him. However, she appears again later, after having broken up with her boyfriend. When she asks to meet up with again, he says "Sorry, I can't because if i do there'll be an idiot who'll cry."

Umiboozu
Drama role by: Susumu Terajima
A popular rapper. Risa and Ōtani are both avid fans of Umibōzu, leading to Nobu's suggestion that the two are compatible. Risa and Ōtani accidentally cross paths with Umibōzu while on a class trip, and learn that he is actually a devoted family man, with a wife and son.

Kuniumi Maitake (舞竹国海, Maitake Kuniumi?)
Drama role by: Shosuke Tanihara, Voiced by: Junichi Suwabe
Student teacher at Risa and Ōtani's school. Maitake, who prefers the nickname "Maity" or "Mighty", is taller than Risa and extraordinarily good-looking. He bears a resemblance to "Cain-sama", a character in one of Risa's favorite visual novels, and soon acquires a legion of female fans. Gaining affection from Risa, Ōtani soon becomes jealous and quickly starts to realize his feelings for her. It is later revealed he has a fiance, to the disappointment of his fan club.

Mimi Yoshioka
Voiced by: Kae Araki
Ōtani's next door neighbor. She is in love with Ōtani, and brings him milk every day so he could reach her height, about the same as Risa's. Since Ōtani does not not have feelings toward her but does have feelings for Risa (who is exactly the same height as Mimi), she becomes jealous of her. She acts accordingly two-faced between them both: acting sweet towards Ōtani, yet acting sour to Risa behind his back. Later she becomes friends with Risa and gives up on Otani, after seeing how "not cool" he was and that he is truly happy with Risa. She is also a model in a magazine.

Risa's Senpai

Dancing Yoshiko
Drama role by: Eiji Wentz

Kohori Kazuki
Voiced by: Hiroki Shimowada

Risa soon discovers that he is also an avid Umibouzu fan. He very soon develops feelings for Risa, who admits to herself that she finds him 'cute'. Against her better judgment, Risa attends an Umibōzu concert with Kohori which leads to her temporary breakup with Ōtani. He even tells Ōtani that he is in love with Risa, which causes Ōtani to slug him.

Matsubara-san (松原さん, Matsubara san?)
The manager in charge at the restaurant where Risa works. She wears glasses and is quite nosy. When she is intoxicated, she turns wild, and does things that she won't remember the next day.
